Leadership Team

At Humin, Andrew is responsible for generating revenue to support the mission. He brings together the team’s science, content, and technical expertise to create high-impact offerings tailored to the unique needs of organizations.

Andrew previously served as a Partner at IDEO, where he led the design of healthcare products and services rooted in Human-Centered Design. His work has produced award-winning medical devices, including the first mass-produced insulin pen for the U.S. market, a novel sinus surgery tool, and a human kidney transporter featured in the Museum of Modern Art. He holds 22 patents and authored Everyday Engineering (2007).

Andrew is passionate about gardening, hiking and old houses. He lives with his wife in Wisconsin and has 3 adult children and several cats. He nurtures his physical, social and mental wellbeing as an avid ballroom dancer.
